Start with free credits

New DigitalOcean accounts get a signup credit:
  • $5 of credit, applied automatically when you create your first team. No promo code is needed.
  • It expires 90 days after signup and applies to all products except SaaS Add-Ons, so it covers App Platform.
  • You must add a valid payment method before you can create any resource.
  • The official pages checked list no standing offer above $5. Larger amounts, when they exist, come from promo codes or campaigns.
Checked on 2 October 2026 on the signup credit page (last verified by DigitalOcean on 15 July 2026). Offers change: check the linked page before you sign up.
